Cashiering Solution

As part of its ItemAge Express solution, Creditron Receivables Automation offers a cashiering application that combines imaging, data recognition and real-time host interaction to minimize document handling, decrease errors, reduce courier runs, and improve cash control.

The application supports any payment type (cash, check and credit/debit card) and a wide variety of payment applications: secured tax, unsecured tax, utility, licenses, and more.

Our cashiering application uses image capture and data recognition (OCR/CAR/LAR) to provide a single point of processing for walk-up payments. The solution features real-time host interaction, payment authorization, receipt printing, audit trails for all transaction, and the ability to create electronic deposits using Check 21, ACH/BOC, and ACH/POP.

Certified with the key credit card processors for credit/debit card authorization, the cashiering solution accepts all major credit cards. It also offers multiple fee tables, IP connectivity using SSL and dial-functionality, real-time or batch-transaction processing, and unlimited merchant numbers.

Through its host application integration, the cashiering solution automatically identifies current amount due, flags duplicate payments, supports installment payments and installment integrity, and provides account lookup capabilities using the payer’s name or address. Our host exchange services also support stop files for delinquent accounts, exceptions handling and bad checks (based on MICR data), while providing terminal emulation for data extracts.
