TigerTranz (Check Verification & Returned Check Processing)

4/22/2009 1:00:00 PM - Join Purepay and TigerTranz for a free Webinar on issues and opportunities in the Government and Tax Collection industry on returned check and payment processing.

Speakers will include Richard Steele of the Gwinnett County, GA Tax Commissioner’s Office and Mark Brousseau, facilitator of TAWPI’s Payment Capture & Clearing Council.

Richard Steele, Director of the Gwinnett County Property Tax Department, will provide a case study on the difficulties Gwinnett County faced with its in-house bad check collection processing system, and how an out-sourced solution helped improve its operations efficiency and reduce the department’s annual operating costs significantly. Gwinnett County in the metro-Atlanta area with a population of around 800,000 is one of Georgia’s largest counties with its DMV Department having the most vehicles registered in the state.

Additionally, Mark Brousseau will share industry data and anecdotes on the challenges Government offices and other remittance processors face, and how they are addressing these issues with new technologies and processes.

John Morris with TigerTranz will moderate the discussion and answer questions on this evolving opportunity for Government Offices as well as other sectors concerned with increasing returned checks.
