Creditron Releases White Paper on the Advantages of Check 21 and Electronic Check Clearing

TORONTO, ON, February 06, 2009 – Creditron today announced the release of its latest white paper, “Making Sense of Electronic Check Clearing.”  The white paper outlines the benefits to be gained by financial institutions and billers who take advantage of electronic check clearing processes, such as Check 21, remote deposit capture, and eCheck.  All of these processes help organizations significantly reduce cost and improve operational efficiency – both critical during tough economic times.

The while paper details industry trends, provides the benefits of each electronic clearing option, and illustrates an approach for leveraging multiple electronic clearing mechanisms.

“The continuing decline in paper check volumes, and the migration to electronic payments, is transforming the payments landscape.  Payments diversification is the norm and electronic clearing has reached the tipping point,” said Creditron President Wally Vogel.  “Faced with this new reality, users are looking at electronic clearing solutions – Check 21, remote deposit capture, ACH – to save time and money, reduces staff, and improve service.  This white paper is good starting point for billers and banks alike.”

The white paper can be downloaded at no charge by signing up for our resource library at: http://www.creditron.com/resource-library/index.asp.
