Creditron Awarded Contract from Apache County Tax Collector

County to Implement Payments Processing Solution with Check 21 Capabilities

TORONTO, ON, October 05, 2009 – Creditron, a leading provider of payments and receivables solutions, has been awarded a contract from the Apache County Tax Collector (Arizona) to provide a payments processing solution and related hardware and services.

Currently comprised of 70,000 residents, Apache County is growing, with permanent jobs being created, along with all of the support services needed for an expanding population.

Creditron will deliver an image-based solution to upgrade the county's processing of tax payments, resulting in increased staff productivity and a two to three day improvement in funds availability.  The solution will include a 3000t document transport from NCR Corp., and the ability to deposit funds electronically via Check 21.

"Our goal at the Apache County Tax Collector is to become more streamlined and efficient while enhancing the service we offer constituents," said Apache County Tax Collector Chief Deputy Sandie Klinchock.  "Creditron will help us become more agile and cost competitive.  This, along with its impressive implementation in nearby Navajo County and its ability to support our aggressive implementation timeline, set Creditron apart from other competitors."

"With a growing population, the Apache County Tax Collector faces an increasingly complex operations environment with evolving technology needs," said Wally Vogel, founder and CEO of Creditron.  "Creditron is building a partnership with the county by delivering the payments infrastructure and support needed to enable continuous change."

The Apache County Tax Collector expects to begin live production with the Creditron Receivables Automation solution this month -- just a few weeks after contract signing.  Navajo County will handle back-end tax accounting on behalf of Apache County.

Today's announcement builds on the strong momentum Creditron is achieving with county governments.  The company now counts over 45 counties among its users.
