Creditron Launches Payments Benchmarking Program

TORONTO, ON, October 04, 2009 – Creditron, a leading provider of payments processing and receivables management solutions, today announced the launch of the 2009 Payments Balanced Scorecard to identify best practices in payments processing in organizations across North America.

The first in a series of planned annual benchmarking surveys, the 2009 Payments Balanced Scorecard will help financial institutions, businesses, government entities and other organizations assess the performance of their payments processing solutions against those used by their peers.  This year, data is being collected in several key performance areas, including functionality, total cost of ownership, ease of use, reliability, scalability, and vendor service.  Creditron will lead the data collection and analysis, while Brousseau & Associates is providing additional analysis and guidance for the project.

Payments professionals from any organization in the United States and Canada may participate in the study at no cost.  Once the project is completed, each of the participants will receive the 2009 Payments Balanced Scorecard report at no charge.  They then can compare their organization's payment operations with those of their peer group, as well as with all other study participants.  Creditron representatives also will be available for one-on-one consultation on the results.

Aggregate results of the 2009 Balanced Scorecard also will be presented on a Webinar later this year.
